SmartFlower Highlights October 2026

Blooms in Paradise

On the island of Maui, four SmartFlowers are soaking up all Hawaiʻi’s sun. These newly installed units are perfectly arranged at a private residence in Kula, Maui. This marks the first installation in Maui, and the third private residence installation in Hawaiʻi.

SmartFlowers are perfect for businesses, but we also enjoy celebrating private residents who want to showcase their green thumb and look good doing so with our stunning units!

Greetings From Austria

The SmartFlower team just completed its twice-yearly technical training at our manufacturing facility in Pinkafeld, Austria. It was our largest training group to date, with dealers and installation and service partners from Austria, Italy, France, Ireland, the UK, Spain, and Hungary – and even our entire European sales team joined in the action! Our Senior Service Engineer Mustafa Özgan successfully led all the training sessions, and the group had insightful conversations, exchanging ideas and exploring new opportunities. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to see many SmartFlowers in your territories!

SmartFlower On Tour

Last month, Shakira ended her stadium residency in Madrid for her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. Against the backdrop of music, two SmartFlowers followed the sun throughout the day to give concertgoers a reminder of a clean energy future. Our customer Iberdrola, the Spanish multinational electric utility company and one of the world’s largest producers of wind power and renewable energy, chose SmartFlower for the venue to spotlight their leadership in renewable energy. At events like this, solar proves that it can be more than infrastructure; it can be part of the show and part of your story.

This installation was made possible by our local partner Julio Matilla at SmartFlower Iberia.

New Release! SmartFlower Origin Story

SmartFlower is proud to introduce our short film about the inspiration, engineering, craftsmanship, and vision behind SmartFlower. The film traces that journey: from the original concept inspired by the movement of a sunflower, through its engineering and manufacturing, to the role SmartFlower plays today at corporate campuses, universities, municipalities, cultural institutions, and other highly visible destinations.

If you have ever considered how renewable energy could become more than infrastructure, and instead become part of your organization’s identity, sustainability story, and physical environment, we think you’ll enjoy these few minutes. Watch here.
