SmartFlowers Bloom for Upcoming Grand Opening of East Texas Business Park

We’re excited to join Henderson Texas Economic Development Corporation (Henderson Texas EDC) to unveil Henderson Innovation Park on September 23rd, 2025. This park is designed to advance economic development for the Henderson community through new businesses, jobs, and capital investment. Henderson Innovation Park is their most ambitious project, with $10 million devoted to its success.
SmartFlower is proud to be a part of this incredible endeavor. At the park, True Texas Solar & Roofing recently installed five SmartFlowers, which will generate renewable energy for some of the park’s crucial amenities. Henderson Texas EDC’s decision to partner with SmartFlower aligns with their vision of sustainable development, and positions the project as the only Innovation, Business or Industrial park in East Texas with onsite renewable energy.
Covering 300 acres, the grounds will feature a picturesque business park with expansive green spaces, sidewalks and streets, as well as a recreational trail around a scenic lake. It also has vital services such as sewer and water services, storm drains, electricity, natural gas, and fiber optic connectivity. It’s a wonderful, supportive ecosystem for new businesses to innovate and expand.
SmartFlower’s President Mark Conroy will be visiting the park to celebrate our partnership with Henderson Texas EDC, and their journey towards a sustainable, prosperous future. The celebration will feature an exciting ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Bret Gardella, Henderson Texas EDC’s Executive Director, refreshments, giveaways, and more.
