As a SmartFlower Solar Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of our mission to bring renewable energy solutions to commercial, institutional, and municipal energy users. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell Smartflower solar systems, building relationships with clients and driving double digit sales growth. This role offers a perfect blend of entrepreneurship, environmental advocacy, and personal achievement.


  • Develop a deep understanding of SmartFlower Solar products and their benefits.
  • Identify and engage potential customers through various channels, including networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Conduct product presentations to educate key decision makers on the advantages of the Smartflower system.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their sustainability mission and to then provide compelling sales proposals.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, offering exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of SmartFlower.

  • Passion for renewable energy and a genuine commitment to sustainability.
  • Proven track record in Business to Business (B2B) strategic sales of high value products and commercial branding, preferably in the renewable energy segment. Sales experience in Distributed Generation, Energy Services or EV charging is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value proposition in a simple and compelling manner.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with diverse clientele and the organization.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel within your assigned territory as needed.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Salesforce CRM.
